Bruce Irvine has been the Banff & Buchan Monitor Farmer at Sauchentree for four years.
- His business has gone through several transitions since he took full charge in late 2022.
- This included a move to conventional farming from organic and the building and management of a 32,000 laying unit.
- Bruce will summarise the greatest changes in his livestock and arable farm and explain his decisions.
Kirsten Williams, Williams Rural Services, carried out Bruce’s land management plan in 2023 and revisits the business, three years later, to highlight Bruce’s aspirations and achievements.
- Kirsten will be probing both Bruce and the audience to consider what comes next at Sauchentree.
